Negril Jamaica
Negril Jamaica is famous for its sunsets -- and for its seven mile beach, a stretch of white sand beach and five miles of waterfront cliffs. Negril is a place for perfect place for a Jamaica wedding and for honeymooners, divers, and people who just want to get away from it all.
Negril is famous for its sunsets. The resort area of Negril stretches from Bloody Bay (called that because whales were slaughtered there a century ago) to Negril Point Lighthouse. By law, no building can be taller than the tallest palm tree.
Enjoy the simple pleasures of life, sitting in the sun with an icy drink, and then cool off in the crystal clear water of the Caribbean. Or if you're up to something a little more active, there's almost any kind of water sport available. On the cliff side, there's the renowned Pickled Parrot, where the more adventurous dive from 45-foot cliffs or swing from a rope into the water and then swim into the caves carved by the seas. Inside one of the caves, you'll find yourself approaching a bar within the cliff. Enjoy a drink before you climb back up to do it all over again. |
